Tecstar Custom Food Trucks

Tecstar Food Trucks are designed by experienced engineers and food service industry professionals. They are built to state and local codes using NSF equipment and materials. Our Food Trucks are made of the lightest and strongest materials in the industry and will last much longer than the competition.

Food Trucks seem simple, but there is a great deal of thought that must go into their design and layout. Our professionals spend a great deal of time making sure these critical adjustments are made prior to manufacturing. Our team cares about the details that so many others seem to overlook.

Our Corporate Sales Executive John Warren, has 35+ years of food service experience. He has over ten years of consulting and kitchen design for restaurants and mobile. John also understands the critical workflow to save steps with a limited staff to deliver the most significant amount of output during service. John and engineering team leader and owner Randy Carr and assistant engineer Shane Carr have over 35+ years of mobile food service manufacturing, and design each project for success as if it were their own.

  • Our custom-built kitchen allows for a lower serving window.

BUMPER TO BUMPER

  • The Isuzu chassis cab is shorter than a step van which allows for additional kitchen space in the same overall footprint.

AVAILABLE

  • New or used Isuzu are readily available at dealers across the country. The COVID-19 virus may cause delays.

ECONOMICAL

  • Less expensive than the equivalent length new step van.

MANEUVERABLE

  • The Isuzu has a much tighter turning radius than a step van, critical for getting into tight spaces and a chassis with a 24’ kitchen which is shorter than a MT45 22’ step van.

COMFORTABLE

  • The Isuzu cab seats 3 people.
  • Extremely comfortable vs a step van’s typical driver’s seat. Large steering wheel and jump seat.

The E-450 7.3L V8 gas engine with dual rear wheels delivers high end capability with an available GVWR of 14,500 lbs. and an available payload rating of 8,980 lbs.(minus body weight) for maximum kitchen capability.

The E-450 kitchen can extend to 16’ from cab to bumper and an 8’ wide body and has an add towing capability with a maximum GCWR of 22,000 lbs.

  • The E-450 Cutaway cab seats 2 people and has a pass through access with a sliding or swing door to the kitchen from the cab area when needed.
